«I think Josh and I won,» Mitchell said after the tournament. «Aaron Rogers doesn’t count. His disability was crap. I haven’t looked. I think we were at 18, we could have been up there, but if we finished second behind Aaron, I think we won the trophy.»

Rodgers and Silverman were named winners with a score of 26-under after harsh weather conditions cut the tournament to 54 holes. Peter Malnati and former FedEx President and CEO Don Colleran finished second, while Mitchell and Allen finished fourth.

But Rodgers admitted he wasn’t very confident going into the tournament.
«I shot 86 at Sherwood on Monday and that was with a couple balls in my pocket on a few holes. And I played at Cypress on Tuesday with a good friend of mine, Neal ElAttrache. My caddy was with me too. If I could I’ve seen you didn’t expect nothing this week. But something clicked when I went to Spy. I had a good round in the Monterey Peninsula on Friday.
